Famer’s Market lovers will be excited to hear the Granville Winter Market is open for business once more. Making it possible to get that fresh produce you love all summer in January.

The Granville Winter Farmer’s Market is held inside Granville Elementary school, offering an alternative to grocery stores. With everything from fresh, fruits, vegetables and baked goods.

“We have literally eggs, meat, cheese, produce. Getting produce in January that’s pretty amazing. So bread almost all of your stables are really here. We have customers that does the bulk of their shopping here in the winter so, that’s pretty nice,” said Cynthia Dilbone.

Dilbone said it is extremely important to continue having the Winter Farmer’s Market because, it benefits not only the community but the vendors as well.

“Once you build that customer base and they come back every year. You sort have a responsibility to maintain that in my opinion and for the vendors too that they have a place to sell their produce in the winter,” said Dilbone.

The market will continue to run each Saturday from 9:30 a.m until noon, until the first Saturday in February.
