Upcoming Events In Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr

The first event will be the 24th Annual Ethnic Food Fair at 11am this Friday, January 15th at the Campus Center at Zane State College. The menu will be featuring Cuban, Italian, Greek, and Soul cuisines prepared by Zane State Culinary Arts students under instruction of Chef Marco Adornetto. Tickets are only $10 per person and are available for purchase in the Business Office in College Hall or by calling 740.588.1321.

The second event will be taking place at 4pm on Sunday, January 17th at the McIntire Library. There will be music by the mass choirs of the City-Wide Singspiration and words of inspiration by Rev. Robert Palmer of St. Paul AME Church.

The last event will be the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund Prayer Breakfast that will be honoring the American Red Cross, Big Brothers, Big sisters; Muskingum County Community Foundation; United Way. The event will be taking place on 9 am Monday, January 18th at the North Terrace Church of Christ. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the Muskingum County Welcome Center & Conference Center at 205 N 5th Street in Zanesville.

There will also be a food drive that is accepting donations at Christ Table on 28 S. 6th Street. For large donations please call the Muskingum County Hunger Network, Inc. at 740.453.8130 for pick up.
