The United Way Will Be Honored at Martin Luther King Jr Breakfast

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties is one of several organizations being honored at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr breakfast.
The United Way serves this county in many ways. They feel honored to be recognized for their contributions.
“We are so honored. Speaking on behalf of the board and staff to receive this honor to have our accomplishments and the work that we do recognized. It just a great honor. We are so pleased to received it,” said Executive Director, Meg Deerick.
Deedrick said The Untied Way prides themselves on strengthening the community through partnership.
“We are improving the community. Whether it’s improving education and providing access to folks to get a good education. So that they can get a good job to support a family. And of course good health to appreciate all of those gifts. We are proud that we invest in programs to advance those goals. By investing in programs that produces outcomes,” said Deerick.
Deerick said The United Way did not do it alone. Everything is make possible through community support and support from the donors.
