Thefts from Cars Investigated

Police in Newark search for information regarding a series of thefts from cars at the Licking County Family YMCA on West Church Street.

Authorities said between September 2nd and October 1st a suspect or suspects smashed windows on numerous cars and stole items including: A purse, a wallet, ATM/Debit Card, credit cards, a GPS and Oakley sunglasses.

An up to a $1,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
