Little Girl Gives Gifts Away At Genesis

On Monday, 5-year-old Francesca Dougherty and her parents went to the Pediatrics Department at Genesis Hospital with bags full of toys to donate to the hospital.

Francesca decided on her birthday last December that every gift she receives for Christmas would be given away to sick kids at the hospital.

Francesca’s mother told us that she asked Francesca what she wanted for Christmas and she said that she didn’t want anything and that any gifts she got she wanted to give to sick kids.

We got a chance to talk to Francesca and asked her about why she wanted to give her toys away.

“I’m giving my toys to sick kids, because I thought it would be nice to give toys to sick kids,” said Dougherty

The family brought in a total of 86 presents which consisted of books, stuffed animals, star wars toys, arts and crafts, and much more.
