Architect For Senior Center Meets With Commissioners

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â County Commissioners met with the architect for the Muskingum County Senior Center Brian Addis Tuesday.
The meeting focused on the new Center for Seniors. Addis said the objective of this meeting is to get a construction manager under contract.
“So that we can move forward with the construction of renovation for the Muskingum County center for seniors,” said Addis.
Addis said the senior center is extremely important for the community because it’s a place to socialize, congregate which ultimately leads to the betterment of well being. Addis said his goal to have construction completed by fall.
“Ultimate goal is to get construction done hopefully by the end of August. There is a time line we’re trying to meet. And that’s one of the reasons for the objective of getting the construction manager under contract at this time,” said Addis.
Addis said the next step is to finish the design and finish the construction.
