Laura Kay (Schneider) Medaugh, 67, died Tuesday Morning, June 17, 2025, at Clay Garden Place, Zanesville.

Born March 19, 1958, in Piqua, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James and Eleanora (Massie) Schneider. She was a 1976 graduate of Graham High School, St. Paris, Ohio and a 1980 graduate of Miami University. Laura was a substitute teacher, tutor and faithful member of Dresden United Methodist Church. Growing up she participated in 4-H winning awards for sewing. She was a Junior leader and Camp Counselor. Laura also volunteered as a church camp counselor and was a camp chaperone. In high school she played basketball, volleyball, and ran track. Laura also enjoyed playing in the marching band.

Surviving is her loving husband of 44 years, Paul Andrew Medaugh, who she married on January 3. 1981; three children, Joni Medaugh, Angela (Jacob) Godshall, and Jessica Medaugh; two grandsons, Jonah and Daniel Godshall; father-in-law, John Medaugh; sister-in-law, Patsi Switzer; niece, Hannah Schneider; nephew, David Schneider and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Schneider.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 11:00am till the time of service at 1:00pm at Dresden United Methodist Church, 1014 Main Street, Dresden, Ohio 43821.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the church with Pastor Dan Wells officiating.
