Nominations For This Years Women of Achievement Award Ends February 10th

The 28th Annual Women of Achievement Awards Program will be honoring local women across the community this April.

We took a trip out to OUZ/Zane State College to talk to Christine Shaw, Women of Achievements Chairperson to talk about the event.

“We want to honor and recognize women for their wonderful achievements, community service, and being a wonderful role model in the community,” said Shaw.

Nominations are being accepted until the end of the day on Wednesday, February 10th, 2016.

Awards will be given out to women involved in different categories such as business, education, professions, special recognition, young adult, bright futures, and health care.

The recipients of the awards will be honored at a banquet on Wednesday, April 13th, at OUZ/Zane State College Campus Center.
