Rising Country Artist Returns Home
A rising country artist and Coshocton native is taking a step down memory lane to where it all began.
Casee Allen released his first album in 2015 and Highway 103 was the first radio station to air his debut single ‘Shot of You.’ Allen describes his reaction to hearing his song play on the radio station that he grew up listening to.
"I turned on the radio and I swore it was just a CD and I was looking around like that can not be right like what’s going on. And my little two year old says daddy and I’m like oh," said Allen. "But, for me it was even more special to hear it and have my two year old say daddy."
Allen is excited to announce information on the opening of his first tour because they are making a stop very close to home.
"I haven’t released this yet, this is the first time I’ve told anybody. March 19th is my third stop on the Parmalee tour and it’s actually in Akron, Ohio. So I’m like beyond excited to be able to come to Ohio and be on my first tour and the 3rd day is in Ohio," said Allen.
Allen describes being on the road as fast pace and told us he takes each day one day at a time. When ask if he lived by a certain quote he had this to say.
"My quote from today was from Sugar Ray Robinson, I was also a boxer prior to getting into music. Sugar Ray said "to be a champ, you have to believe in yourself when nobody else will." That is a quote that I live by daily."
Allen also preformed Wednesday night at the Smiling Goat.
