MCCF Will Be Accepting Applications For Its Spring Grant Competition
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Community Foundation will be accepting application for 2016 Spring Grant Competition. There is $35,000 up for grabs.
The grant money is from the foundation’s groundhog day auction fundraiser and all Muskingum County nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.
“The Spring Grant Competition is an opportunity for non profits, other groups, and organizations within Muskingum County to apply for dollars that they can use towards their project. We’re real excited to be rolling out the application next Tuesday and giving non profits and opportunity to then apply online,” said Muskingum County Community Foundation CEO Brian Wagner.
Once the application is received it’s then reviewed by the distribution committee of the community foundation.
“It’s just a way for the community foundation to really answer their mission which is to raise dollars and to give back to the community. Support projects that are desired by the county and by the community. This is a great way for us to really find out what’s happening around our county and around our community. And be able to support worthwhile projects through the dollars that were raised through that fundraiser,” said Wagner.
Grant applications must be submitted online by noon on March 11th. The application will be available February 16th.
