Eastside Community Ministry’s CHAIR-ity Auction

Also happening this weekend at Colony Square mall during the time of the Hearth, Home and Away show is a CHAIR-ity Auction.

Eastside Community Ministry’s is hosting two auctions this weekend, beginning with a ‘Sealed Bid’ Silent Auction that runs Friday and Saturday from 10am until 8pm. There you will find over 40 different types of chairs that’ll be up for grabs.

"Folks can come out and place their bid. They look at the item incentive and decide the amount they would like to bid and put it in envelops, seal that envelope and on Saturday at 8 o’clock we’ll go through all of those bids for that item and the high bid wins," said Marcy White.

On Saturday Sheriff Matt Lutz will be the auctioneer for the Live Auction starting at 3pm. There will be a variety of items ranging from office furniture to Cincinnati Reds baseball tickets all the way to a unique doggy bed.

"It’s important to me that we not only do fundraising for assisted but, also the programs at assisted because, I feel I’ve been very blessed in life but their are folks that have needs and I feel that we need to help those in need," said White.

All funds raised for this event will be donated to the charitable work of Eastside Community Ministry.
