Sheriff: Searching For a Purse Snatcher

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a male wanted for questioning in the theft of a purse from an elderly female. Sheriff Matt Lutz says it happened at the South Zanesville Wal-Mart on February 14th around 1:30 in the afternoon. The white male was a passenger in a silver Honda that had damage to the right passenger side hood area and the back quarter panel behind the passenger door. The vehicle was also missing both hubcaps on the passenger side. The suspect was wearing red pants, black shoes and a dark sweatshirt at the time of the incident. He is around five feet ten inches tall with a thin/medium build.
