MCCF Offers College Prep Course and College Night

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Community Foundation is making sure Muskingum County students are college ready.

The foundation is offering an ACT prep class Sunday, February 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

“There is a $20 deposit for registration . That can be returned to the student. As long as they can to 4 of the 5 classes and submit their act scores to us,” said Muskingum County Community Foundation Educational Assistant Katie McCarty.

In addition to the prep class the foundation will be hosting it’s College Night on March 10th at the Zane State OUZ Campus Center free of charge.

“We have a lot of panelist and presenters who comes in and talk about the real experience. We have admission counselors who come in and talk about the admission process. We have financial experts who talk about the FAFSA or financial aid in general. Our college guides do a presentation on the ins and outs of college. Where to find books for the cheapest price, the things that they don’t hear from anybody else,” said McCarty.
