Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s that time of the week again. We stopped by the Animal Shelter to showcase a pet in need of a forever home.

This week we have Steele. This 2 year old boxer mix has been at the shelter for 6 months. Steele is good with other dogs and people. He’s up to date on his shots and for only $70 Steele can be yours.

“I think if he had a home and some one giving him a lot of attention. He does response will. We started teaching him a few tricks. He can shake hands and sit. He’s just a high energy dog. We want to find a good home for him,” said Executive Director Jody Murray.

The Animal Shelter is also gearing up for it’s Yappy Hour event on March 10th at the Zanesville Country Club.

“It will be at 5 o clock. We are going to have a few auction items. Last year we were very fortune to have a blimp ride that was provided by City Tire Dave Frame and Tracy Frame. We just found out that we will have another blimp ride to action off this year. Those kinda of things are kind of once in a lifetime events. So mark your calendar,” said Murray.
