County Commissioner’s Hold Meeting For Dog Pound And Animal Shelter Members

Members of the Muskingum County Dog Pound and Animal Shelter Society met on Monday to discuss with commissioners about the Dog Pounds plan to rebuild a new facility on their existing lot.

The current facility is out of date and their 40 plus volunteers are pushing to have a brand new facility in order to take better care of their dogs.

The Pound is currently working on putting together a fundraiser in order to pay for the costs of the new facility.

The Animal Shelter Society said that they are happy to lend a hand in the Pounds project.

While these are two different organizations, they both have the same goal to help save animals across the county.
