Maysville Grad Wins Big Ten Gold
Maysville grad J.C. Murasky is now a Big Ten shot put champion.
The Ohio State redshirt senior captured gold at the Big Ten Indoor Championships on Friday with a personal-best throw of 20.19 meters. According to Ohio State Athletics, the throw is the fourth-best in Division I this season.
Murasky is the first Buckeye to win the conference indoor title in shot put since Dan Taylor in 2004. The Zanesville native also boasts first team All-American honors (2015) and two All-Big Ten selections on his resume.
