The 170th Annual Muskingum County Fair will kick off on August 14th and will last through the 20th. All your favorite traditions are back and country music fans will be excited about this year’s entertainment.
“We didn’t have chickens last year and so far the ban is off. We will have rooster crowing and exhibits of poultry this year,” said Muskingum County Fair Board President Darrel Cubbison.
“We’re pleased to announced that will have Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles Jr., and Chris Lane. These are two name entertainers. They are coming up the charts. Granger Smith was number 1 last week on the billboard charts. And Chris Lane’s new song “Fix” is in the top 20 across the nation,” said Muskingum County Fair Board Secretary Doug Guinsler.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 2nd. This year the fair board is introducing a new way to purchase tickets. There is a 8 ticket limit for the concert.
“All tickets will be sold online. We trying something new this year. We’re allowing you to print your tickets at home. We’ll have readers at our gates to read your tickets. It’s another step forward for us. We’re still a small fair but we’re trying to advance the way people buy tickets,” said Guinsler.
