The Zanesville High School Band Presents the ‘Blue Knights Ball’
If you’re a jazz lover or someone looking to learn some new dance moves the Blue Knights Ball is where you need to be.
The 27th Annual fundraiser will include sounds from the Zanesville High School-Blue Knights Jazz Ensemble and the Rusty Knights Big Band, Anna Hayes said proceeds from the event will benefit the Zanesville High School band.
"It’s really important because it will bring in money. I know it sounds it’s not really heart warming and people thinks it’s greedy but, if you think about it it helps other kids who are coming up to do the fun things we do like go to Disney. Sometimes they need a little help and to be able to go to band camp and experience all the other things that some people can’t. It’s really heart warming to know that we’re bringing in money by doing something that we enjoy a lot," Anna Hayes, Alto Saxophone, Zanesville High School Band.
The ball takes place this Saturday from 7 to 11pm at Zane State OUZ Campus Center. Hayes said this is her second year preforming at the Blue Knights Ball and she looks forward to seeing people groove to their music.
