Time to Register For Chamber’s Spring Break
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual meeting.
The spring break themed meeting will be held on Friday, April 1st from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Muskingum Recreation Center’s Littick Hall.
“This is where we are giving out awards for economic development in the previous calendar year. We’re giving out safety council awards. There’s a lot of companies and employers getting recognized. We wanted this to be very much a fun time and very uplifting and motivating. Give people a new outlook as they enter spring after sort of a dreary winter,” said chamber president Tom Poorman
Poorman said this event is very informal. The attire is strictly casual.
“This is the time to make your reservation. It’s a big event. About 400-500 people attend every year. We want people want to make a reservation now before it’s too late. There’s also an option for exhibit tables. If somebody wants to set up an exhibit, there an extra fee for that. But they can just attend and network and enjoy the breakfast, the entertainment, and awards. Or they can also do a little marketing that day and have an exhibit table,” said Poorman.
