Ohio Means Jobs is Looking for Employers to Participate in Job Fair
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Ohio Means Jobs is teaming up with the chamber of commerce and WHIZ Media Group to invite companies to participate in a job fair.
It will take place on Tuesday, March 29th from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the Zanesville Muskingum County Welcome Center. The first hour of the job fair will be dedicated solely to veterans.
“Veterans can come in that first hour. It’s closed to the public and they can talk to the employers that are there that day. Then once we open it up to the public, it is really a great time for employers and job seekers to get together. They can network. It’s face to face. We are really excited when we can put those job fair together for that reason,” said Ohio Means Jobs Supervisor Julie Metzger.
Metzger said job seekers should dress for success when attending the job fair.
“We also want to reach out to the employers to tell them know that we are having this event. You can call us to get registered. We encourage employers that are out there to please contact us and take advantage of this job fair” said Metzger.
The deadline for employers to register is March 18th. For more information call Justy Cordray (740) 454-6211.
