Locals Enjoy the Weather Outdoors on the Golf Course

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Spring has officially sprung in Ohio.
Ohio is experiencing with tropical like climate the past few days . Many Ohioans are enjoying the weather outdoors and many are out on the putting green.
“Everybody is excited about the upcoming season this weather just tops it off. [The weather] brings everybody out. Everybody is excited about coming out and getting the rust off of their clubs and off of their swings. I got out yesterday and played. That’s the first time I played since September. I was very excited to get out. A little sore today but not too bad,” said Green Valley Golf Club General Manager and PGA Head Golf Professional Steve Galloway.
Not only is the great weather reason enough to go outdoors, but Green Valley Golf Course is offering some incentives.
“We are still on our winter rates. It’s $8 to walk and $17 to ride 18 holes. Everybody taking advantage of that. We won’t go on our full rate until April 1st. When the weather is nice like yesterday and today as you can see the parking lot is full and everybody is getting excited to come out and play golf,” said Galloway.
Green Valley Golf Course is located on 4420 Dresden Road.
