ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local business has risen from the ashes following a structure fire.

This was the scene nearly three months ago at Crystal Springs Golf Course. The fire destroyed the maintenance building and also took out the maintenance equipment as well. Officials on the scene called it a total loss. But now, it’s a peaceful and scenic sight. We spoke to Crystal Springs Owner Dan Stottsberry about Crystal Spring’s comeback from the fire.

“It’s been tough. I haven’t have a day off since the fire. I’ve worked every single day either traveling to get equipment or working down here at the building getting things ready. It’s been a lot of hours. I wanted it to be nice for my customers,” said Stottsberry.

Stottsberry said he lost roughly 23 pieces of equipment on that night in January. The fire cost $275,000 in damages.

“I want to let everybody know that the golf course is in awesome shape. It’s going to be even better this year because of the equipment we brought. It’s going to be very nice. The last three days we mowed the fairways, the tees, and the greens so the golf course is in awesome shape,” said Stottsberry.

Crystal Springs Golf Course is located at 735 Hopewell Road.
