Kristen Leigh Brown Lights Up July as the ArtCOZ Artist of the Month
ZANESVILLE, OH – A Zanesville artist is proving that a little paint and a lot of passion can brighten the world around us. And this month, she’s getting some well-deserved recognition.
Kristen Leigh Brown is ArtCOZ’s Artist of the Month for July. She’s known for her bright colors, bold contrasts, and art that radiates positivity.
“I love painting with bright colors. I’m inspired by nature and flowers. Art really helps me work through depression or when I’m having a hard time. I want to uplift other people too. So, I try to put positivity out into the world when I’m also working through things,” Brown said.
You can check out her vibrant work, and maybe even take some home, during the First Friday Art Walk this Friday, July 11th.
“I will be open from 5 PM to 9 PM during the Friday Art Walk, and I will have other artists here set up too. I’m excited. I love to feature different artists. If anybody is ever interested and wants to set up, they can contact me on Facebook. My band is also going to be playing, so I’m very excited about that.” Brown said.
