Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for it’s 3rd Annual “Early Summer Golf Outing.”
On Tuesday, May 31st chamber members will tee off at Virtues Golf Club. Pre-match lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and shotgun starts at 12:30 p.m.
“We have two golf outings a year. We do one in the early summer that we rotate among our chamber member golf courses. Then we have one in the late summer that we have at the jc golf course. A lot of people are not familiar with the fact that jcs were started as the junior chamber, as a feeder system to prepare people to be business leaders,” said Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Dana Matz.
Matz said chamber member events are great ways to network and interact with other members.
“It’s a great opportunity for our members of the chamber of commerce together. Some companies allow their employees to golf for the day as a reward. Some companies bring clients. Two companies go together they do business together. It gives them a great chance to network play golf. Have some fun,” said Matz.
Matz said chamber events are important to help bring businesses together.
