Miracle on Main Street and Festival of Trees

The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 23 annual Festival of Trees and Miracle on Main Street this week.

The Festival of Trees is currently being set up and will kick-off Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the evening and the live auction will be Friday December 2, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. President, Dana Matz said there are about 215 entries this year up for auction.

“The money raised for the Festival of Trees comes back to the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce is in business for businesses,” said Matz. “So we support the local business community and help them in many different ways, we’ve been doing that since 1905.”

Miracle on Main Street is also Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Matz, said the businesses and Courthouse will be open for the community to walk through, see how they’re decorated.

“It’s a great way to get the community together, get them in our downtown, [and] get together for the holiday spirit,” said Matz. “We’re very excited about that and we appreciate all the participation and support that we get from the downtown businesses and the community.”
