Bowl For Kids Sake 2016

 The force is stronger when we work together at least that is what one local organization is saying.

Big brothers Big Sisters is hosting its Annual ‘Bowl For Kids’ Sake’ event on April 16th, 19th and the 20th at Sunrise Strikes. The theme for this year is Star Wars. Mollie Crooks said they’re asking members of the community to spare some of their time for a good cause.

"Bowl for Kids Sake is the premiere fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters. We’ve done it locally for about 34 years and the community comes together and supports us in a tremendous way every year," said Crooks.

Crooks said if you can not attend the event, there are still other ways you can be involved.

"If someone isn’t able to be on a team but, they want to help support the cause they can support one of our big-little teams the can buy a lane sign they can support someone who got their own team together. Trust me every dollar counts every dollar makes a difference and it’s a great event because, it only takes a little to do a lot when we all work together," said Crooks.

Crooks said there will be an award for the best dressed team, and she is hoping to see some creative costumes.
