Cross And Sunset Whiz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna June Both Henderson on July 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Donna went home to the loving and compassionate arms of Jesus, surrounded by family who will forever cherish her memory.

Born on June 19, 1943, in Canton, Ohio. Donna was the beloved daughter of Tryphena and Julias Both. She grew up with a love for life and a strong sense of curiosity, which she carried throughout her journey on this earth. Donna’s passion for living in wide open spaces was evident in her love of gardening, bird watching, and all things related to the natural world. She found great joy in nurturing plants and animals, and her home was always filled with resources relating to such. She also found joy in collecting antiques and other beautiful things.

Donna was a woman of many talents. She took immense pleasure in cooking, canning, and preserving the bounty of her garden, ensuring that her loved ones enjoyed the fruits of her labor throughout the year. She was also an avid reader, particularly drawn to books about England’s history and the British Monarchy. Her intellectual curiosity was boundless, and she possessed a remarkable blend of street smarts and book knowledge that made her a trusted confidant to many.

Those who knew Donna would best describe her as intuitive, wise, and fiercely devoted to her family. Above all, she loved the Lord with all her heart, and her faith was the foundation upon which she built a life of kindness and compassion. Donna was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments with the same enthusiasm as if they were her own. She often lived vicariously through their successes, offering encouragement and unwavering support along the way.

Donna is survived by her belove sister, Joann Ditter, and her brother, John Both. She also leaves behind her children Stacy David, Shannan Henderson, Summer Bendle, and Shay Wallace, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Katie and Andrew David, Chelsy Henderson, Niah and Susie Carter, Hannah and Bronson Bendle, and Tre Anderson; great grandchildren, Reuben and Naliah. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.

As Donna joins her Savior in heaven, she leaves a legacy of love, devotion, and inspiration. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
