House of Grace Prepare For Easter Sunday

One local church is allowing the kids to have some extra fun with the service on Easter Sunday.

House of Grace is hosting one of the community’s largest egg hunts, with a total of 10,000 hidden eggs along with a morning message called ‘The Miracle of Zanesville’. Senior Pastor, Joe Dunlap said there will be two separate services, one at 8 a.m and the other at 11 a.m.

"I’ll be talking about the miracles that happened here in Zanesville and so they’ll be able to see that and there will be a full drama that is taking place here and as soon as that’s over the kids then the kids will be loose and all of the eggs will be on the property ready for them to go," said Dunlap.

Pastor Dunlap said this event is open to the community and allows them to express that they are a church that reaches out and helps. He said one thing that he looks forward to the most is the excitement on the kids faces.

"Last year was completely full that why we decided twice to do it and so it gives more children a chance to come and be enjoyed in the Easter egg hunt. It’s always great the kids love it. Everyone is so excited and all the eggs all over the whole property and they get to go, 10,000 is a lot of eggs," said Dunlap.

Pastor Dunlap said there is no age requirement to participate in the hunt as it’s open for children of all ages.
