Update: Drive-thru robbery

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â The Zanesville Police Department is continuing to investigate the robbery of a local drive thru that occurred Monday evening.
The robbery occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. at the R&K Drive Thru located at 1740 Ridge Ave. in Zanesville.
“The suspect entered the business there, showed a hand gun and demanded cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash from the teller,” said Chief Tony Coury of the Zanesville Police Department.
The suspect then fled the business on foot and a witness said the suspect may have gotten on a bicycle.
Coury said the cashier on duty described the suspect as a white male, approximately six feet tall with a thin face, brown mustache and a large nose. The suspect was wearing a red and white flannel with blue jeans and athletic shoes.
