Maysville Superintendent Monte Bainter Is Moving to Logan-Hocking Schools

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â After 11 years of service a local school superintendent is moving to another district.
Maysville Local Schools Superintendent Monte Bainter has accepted superintendent position at Logan-Hocking Schools. We sat down with Superintendent Bainter and asked him what he will remember most about his time in the district.
“Working with the people here in the Maysville Local School District has been an honor and a pleasure. The staff, the board, the community, the kids, it’s just a great place to be. I just really appreciate everyone’s support. And looking back, and knowing I played just a small piece in that puzzle,” said Bainter.
Bainter shared his thoughts on what it takes to become a successful superintendent.
“Someone that going to take all the stakeholders informed. Someone that’s going to be to approachable and be visible. My motto has always been check your ego at the door because we’re all in it together,” said Bainter.
Bainter is proud accomplishing his goal of preparing Maysville student for the future. Bainter’s last day is July 31st.
