Daniel Newlun

Daniel J. Newlun, 23, of Dresden Ohio, passed away on July 12, 2025. Daniel was born on December 31, 2001, to Terry Newlun and Leslie Schwab. Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Terry Newlun; maternal grandfather, Larry Mullins; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Sue Newlun; two uncles, Steven Mullins and Bill Newlun.

Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Leslie (Gregory) Schwab; brother, Thomas Newlun; grandmother, Linda Mullins; best friend, Ethan McCabe; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, many other family and friends.

Daniel had a true love and passion for mixed martial arts. He enjoyed watching and studying the science/mechanics of the sport, noticing every detail that was involved. Daniel enjoyed watching UFC in his free time. He also loved to write music and poetry. He also enjoyed comedy and was quite the comedian himself some would say. Daniel was studying to become a Psychology major with a high interest in the field, wanting to help as many people as he could. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
