Jaycees Public Golf Course Is Hosting A Bridgestone Ball Fitting

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local golf course is offering a new service and a ball fitting.

The Jaycees Public Golf Course is teaming up with Brigestone to host a ball fitting on Wednesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jaycees Public Golf Course Manager Mitch Bowman said Bridgestone is launching a new golf ball.

“Just show up between 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. You can play golf or before you play golf. It only takes probably 5 minutes of your time to do this. They hit it into a net, check their swing speeds, different things like that,” said Bowman.

An addition to the ball fitting, Jaycees has new tee’s for seniors.

“This year were just trying as an experiment. I’m hoping that a lot of people goes up to them. Just have more fun. They are probably 50 to 60 yards in front of the regular senior tees. So the golfers will just have a lot more fun. Have a little bit more of a challenge. I’m expecting a good turn out at. We have a lot of older ladies that need to go up there. They will have a lot more fun, ” said Bowman.

Jaycees Public Golf Course is located at 2710 Jackson Road.
