The Fieldhouse Will Host Relay For Life

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Relay For Life is coming up this summer and this year it will be at a new location.

Relay For Life Muskingum County is teaming up with The Fieldhouse on June 11th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Community Manager Jonathan Schuler stressed the importance of supporting Relay For Life.

“Relay For Life raises funds for cancer research and support programs. Research is not done in Zanesville. The research will help people not only here in Zanesville but all of Muskingum County and all over the world. The cancer support programs that we have in Muskingum County are run throughout Zanesville. The more funds we raise here the better these programs. And the sooner we can find a cure, ” said Schuler.

Relay For Life is an all day event that kicks off with the opening ceremony at 11 a.m. and concludes with the closing ceremony at 10:30 p.m.

“Relay For Life is not just for survivors. It’s for anyone. Survivors. Caregivers. Family. Loved ones. Even people who have no personal connection to cancer who just want to fight back,” said Schuler.
