ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department is offering free health screenings for all ages this weekend.

The Colony Square Mall is hosting the community health fair Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Our goal is to reach out to people about their wellness. And to provide these free health screenings because a lot of people would not otherwise receive it,” said Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department public information officer Jennifer Hiestand.

The community health fair is also offering free kid photo ids, sampling of essential oils, five minute chair massages, a distracted driving simulator, therapy dogs, and a chance to win a Fitbit or a youth bike,

“It’s important to check up on your health. This is a great chance to do that. It’s also a good chance to seek out some more information on things that you maybe be interested in. Maybe you’ve heard about a health issue or a health issue is effecting you that you’d want more information on. And you just haven’t had the chance to ask your doctor about,” said Hiestand.

There is no registration for this event, just simply come to The Colony Square Mall on Friday or Saturday.
