4 Car Accident At State Route 60 and 719 Intersection
State Trooper Jordan Butler described what happened at the accident.
"The blue car was attempting to turn left from 60 to 719. The witness behind the vehicle of the blue car stated that she entered the intersection when the light was green and when she turned left the light turned red. At that time, the driver of the blue vehicle was struck by the silver Avalanche," said Butler.
Butler also said that the other two vehicles involved in the crash collided after the first initial collision between the blue car and Avalanche. The driver of the blue car and Avalanche were transported to Genesis Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The other two drivers were not injured. The accident cause some traffic issues, but quickly cleared up.
Genesis Community Ambulance, Wayne Township Fire Department and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s office aided at the scene.
