Fundraiser Trip to the Big Apple for a good Cause

 Two local organization are teaming up to hold two separate fundraisers to help benefit the community.

The South Zanesville United Methodist food pantry is collaborating with Accel food pantry to help raise money for upgrades to their facilities as well as the the expansion of their food pantries.

"The fundraiser will be a spaghetti dinner on April 23nd served from 4:30 to 6:30 we are limited to about 200 people that will be about to serve. It’s open to all for a donation. If anybody can afford a dollar or two or more that’s great. But, we’ll like for them to come out and see what we are learn about Accel," said Conrad Wilkins, Fundraising Coordinator- food pantry.

The second fundraiser they are working on is a fun-filled trip to the big apple all for only 100 dollars.

"We will be taking a Red Eye bus trip with brewster travel to new york city. Will leave at 8 o’clock on July 22nd and arrive in New York on Saturday morning spend about 13 hours in the city and arrive back here on July 24th at about 9 in the morning."
