Mother Tuckers Gets a new Gas Distributor

After four long months with-out gas Mother Tuckers pumps will be back up and running on Friday.

Owner, Jimmy Pitcock said right before Christmas the gas station’s sub pumps and the control computer went down due to old age. He told us after fully weighing out all options he decided to change to a Sunoco brand. Pitcock said along with the new change they will also received new pumps, dispensers and logos.

"It’s been a lot and I remember telling people you know trust me, it’s a headache right now but, I said long term it’ll be good for everybody. A lot of people thought that it was sold, a lot of people thought that it was shutting down. I told them no, I just wanted to get things up to date and make it a lot easier for everybody. I think it scared a lot of people thinking that it was going to go somewhere but, I said no we just need to update some stuff," said Pitcock.

Pitcock said there is another new feature coming to the convenience store that will help them to keep up with the time and advance to the next level.

"I did my research and found a machine that you walk up to it, it looks like a kiosk, you walk in and you put your check in and your i.d It spit’s out your money and your ready to roll, just like an ATM. It’s really sharp it’s something new they just came out with. I looked into it and I think it’s going to be here next Friday as well so it’s all happening at once," said Pitcock.

Although they are changing their fuel to the Sunoco brand, Pitcock said the name will forever be known as, Mother Tuckers.
