Law Enforcement Food Drive

Two area law enforcement agencies plan to team up to help beat hunger this holiday season.

The New Concord Police Department and the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol will hold a food drive to benefit the College Drive Presbyterian Church food pantry.

The food drive takes place Friday, December 9 from 3-8 p.m. at the Riesbeck’s Food Market at 168 West Main Street in New Concord.

All the food and money raised will go to the food pantry in New Concord.

This is the second year for the event, which collected 1,357 pounds of food to help local families in need last year.

Early donations will be accepted at the New Concord Police Department until Friday, December 9.
