A Horseshoe Tournament Held in Memory of a Local Woman

A horseshoe tournament was held early Saturday morning in memory of a local woman.

The Tri-County Horseshoe Club hosted its last horseshoe tournament of the year at the Sarbaugh’s Indoor Horseshoe Courts in Adamsville and they decided to dedicate the tournament to the late Rita Sarbagh. She passed away approximately four years ago and  spent her last moments in Hospice Care.

“They kept in touch a year after my wife had passed away. It was very touching that they are concerned people and they want to do for your health and well-being as much as possible,” said Elden Sarbaugh, Owner, Sarbaugh’s Indoor Courts.

Elden said all proceeds the horseshoe tournament will go directly to the Muskingum County Hospice Care.
