Lady Muskies edge Capital in overtime

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Cambridge grad Hallie Stocker netted a career-high 15 points to lead Muskingum past Capital in overtime, 68-66, Thursday night at the Anne C. Steele Center.
Two more Guernsey County natives comprised the Lady Muskies’ three double-digit scorers: Cambridge product Mallory Taylor scored 13 points and Buckeye Trail grad Caitlyn Smith chipped in 12 points.
Muskingum (3-2, 2-0) has now won back-to-back OAC contests. The Lady Muskies will look to make it three in a row at home against Baldwin Wallace Saturday at 2 p.m. The Muskingum men’s team takes on the Yellow Jackets afterwards at 4 p.m.
