Animal Shelter is Desperate to give Pup a Forever Home

A familiar face is up for grabs at the animal shelter society this week.

You may recognize Bailey, the 9-year-old Lab mix because, she was ‘Pet of the Week’ just recently with a fee but, now she is absolutely free to adopt and she also comes along with a free bed and 6 months supply of pet food.

“Anyone that is interested at all please come in and spend some time with her. You can see she’s just a great dog and just getting a little up in her years and would be great for a retired person who wants a companion. Good with people, good with kids, we’re really trying to find a good home for her,” said Animal Shelter Society Executive Director Jody Murray.

Murray said they are dedicating extra time to getting Bailey adopted because she has been there since February and they want to see her with a good family.

“We don’t like for our dogs to live at the shelter, we view this as just a temporary situation for them and the sooner that we can find a home for them the better.”

Also coming up at the animal shelter, Thursday may 5th they are holding a Neuterama for male cats. For more information,  you can call the shelter.
