DUNCAN FALLS, Ohio- An overturned commercial vehicle briefly closed Millers Lane Monday afternoon.

The accident took place in the 2200 block of Millers Lane in Duncan Falls.

Trooper Ted Davis with the Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said speed was definitely a factor.

“He traveled off the right side of the road and came back on to the road, traveled left of [the] center line, over turned then went back over on to the right side of the road again, facing back southbound,” said Trooper Davis.

Trooper Davis said there were two male subjects in the vehicle at the time of the crash and both suffered minor injuries.

Motor oil from the vehicle also spilled at the time of the crash.

“EMA was contacted and they’re taking care of the oil right now. The truck was loaded with, what I was told, 300 gallons of oil, so they’re working on getting that plugged and [getting] the ditch taken care of,” said Trooper Davis.

The accident remains under investigation.
