Rotary Celebrates Christmas

Santa made a special stop to give gifts to some young Zanesville City School students.

The Noon Rotary Club hosted its annual Christmas Party at Adornetto’s Pizzeria for 42 special need youngsters.

“It’s one the highlights of our club’s year. And it’s made possible by all of you that brought tickets from the 12 days before Christmas. That’s where those dollars go,” said Rotary Club President Jim Buchbinder.

During the party the students enjoyed pizza, singing Christmas carols and getting gifts from Santa.

“I love the words that Santa Claus said to them before he passed out the presents. That we’re all brothers and sisters and it’s great to have others that love you,” said Buchbinder.

Next week the Noon Rotarian will host an event called “Spreading Holiday Cheer,” it will take place at Zanesville Health and Rehab Center.
