Local Dogs and Owners Gathered at the Fieldhouse

The Fieldhouse Fitness Center hosted their 14th annual event and some furry friends were the big guests.

The American Kennel Club held the Dog Agility Competition at the Fieldhouse for another year. Fieldhouse owner, Mick Amicone said these events help the local economy.

World Agility Team Member, Roger O’Sullivan said the Fieldhouse is great and he looks forward to the runs held at the Fieldhouse.

“We love coming out here the people at the Fieldhouse [are] great too,” said O’Sullivan. “They really are wonderful people very accommodating we look forward to competing out here. Keebler loves the atmosphere out here and all the people so I really hate when I have to miss a run.”

The AKC is open to any owners and dogs that want to register for the event. This show, in particular, had O’Sullivan the first back-to-back winner of the Westminster Dog Show held in New York and a two-time winner Betsey Lynch. Lynch said that all events and competitions are posted through the AKC website and she doesn’t miss the Fieldhouse shows.

“We never miss the shows here and all of our shows are listed online at the AKC website and we just have to get our entries in on time and we don’t miss them here generally,” said Lynch.
