Christ’s Table is Selling Sub Sandwiches

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local organization needs your help.

Christ’s table is hosting an Italian sub sale for operation feed. For the low cost of six dollars, you’ll receive an Italian sub and a bag of chips.

“This is our biggest fundraiser to generate the dollars that we need to last the whole year,” said Christ’s Table executive director Keely Warden. “A thousand subs is our goal. So we need the community to come forth. Everybody needs to eat. And we’re eating for a cause. We’re eating so other can eat.”

All proceeds from the sub sale benefit the 15 food pantries and 4 hot meal programs of Muskingum County Hunger Network.

“It will be lunch in a bag for $6. It’s the best bargain in town on next Wednesday. And the good thing about it is we make them fresh that morning. So everything is fresh on the sub. It hasn’t been frozen. It hasn’t be processed. It’s going to be a really good lunch,” said Warden.

Only pre-orders will be accepted. Christ’s Table asks to fax orders before Monday, May 2nd. The subs will be made on Wednesday, May 4th. Christ’s Table’s fax number is (740) 452-9721.
