Judith “Judy” Ann Tubbs Hoffer, 84 of Chandlersville died at 12:40 AM Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Morrison House Hospice following a short illness.

She was born April 6, 1941, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Harry S. Tubbs and Melita Tumblin Tubbs.

Judy was Methodist by faith and was in the banking business for many years, starting with First National, which later was Unizan and then Huntington. She started as a teller and retired as a Personal Banker after over 30 years of service. After retirement she volunteered for many years at the John and Annie Glenn Museum in New Concord. She enjoyed flower gardening and researching family genealogy. Judy especially enjoyed going to all her grandchildren’s activities.

She is survived by two children; Debbie Ralph and Daniel (Maria) Hoffer; Grandchildren, Brittney Hildebrand, Megan (Jake) Soldat, Ashley (Phil) Mashek and Nicholas Hoffer; great grandchildren, Loren Soldat and Logan Soldat; a brother, Frank Tubbs; Three sisters, Shirley Cohen, Cheryl Northrup and Patricia (Willis) Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Hoffer and two brothers, Bob Tubbs and Ernie Tubbs.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will conclude at the Chandlersville Cemetery.
