ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local organization held it’s inaugural golf outing today at the Zanesville Country Club.

Miles’ Mission is a group that supports families, who have undergone the trauma of infant and pregnancy loss and put to rest many of the stigmas that surround the misfortune.

“So, my son Miles Owen was stillborn in October of 2021. And shortly after, we established Miles’ Mission to bring awareness to pregnancy and infant loss but to also honor babies and families who have gone through that journey of loss. And so we look for different ways with these events that help us to fundraise to provide those resources. But events that really bring-in the community in a variety of different ways,” Miles’ Mission Vice President Jennifer Bullock-Moore said.

The Bullock family, who enjoy golfing, see the fundraiser as a lighthearted way to drive their message and putt for the cause, all while sharing a common love for the sport.

“Well it’s our inaugural golf outing of Miles’ Mission. We are here at Zanesville Country Club. We’re excited. We’ve been blessed with a beautiful day. We have 26 teams and we’re just in a place where we… We are thankful for the community support we have with a number of other  folks who are here. And so we are just ready to go,” Miles’ Mission President Michael Bullock said.
