Fatal Accident in Coshocton County
COSHOCTON County-Â The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident that left one woman dead.
Just before 1:30 p.m. officials received a 911 call of an accident with injuries near SR 83. Upon arriving at the scene emergency services personnel determined that a 54 year old female lost control of her vehicle and crossed the center line. Her vehicle was then struck by an oncoming vehicle traveling the opposite direction being operated by a 44 year old male. The operators of both vehicles were transported to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for their injuries. The female was pronounced dead at the hospital and the male’s condition is unknown at this time. Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of families. Assisting on the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Conesville Fire Department, REACT, and Prince’s Wrecker.
