Everett Lindell Pic

Everett “Blaine” Lindell, 86 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at 11:52 PM on October 8, 2025, surrounded by his family and friends at his residence.
He was born on June 23, 1939, in Frazeysburg, Ohio, son of the late Merle E. Lindell and Maxine G. (Denman) Lindell. Everett was a proud veteran of the United States Army and National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 29 in Zanesville for over 30 years; he had many friends there. He was always happy and never knew a stranger. He worked for Moran Oil Fields and retired from there, but Blaine, as everyone knew him, was the jack of all trades. He could do anything he put his mind to. In his spare time, he loved to do things around the house, whether he was mowing or painting or even watching his Westerns on T.V. Above all things, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be known as a great dad, and grandpa; having always been there when we needed him.
Blaine is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Mike) Reed; grandchildren, Ashley Pletcher, Kody Pletcher; great grandchildren, River, Laylynne, Oaklynne; many special friends and other family members.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Jerry “Todd” Lindell; daughter Tami Sue Lindell; brother, David Lindell; sisters, Carol Gorham, Shirley Shroyer; and the love of his life and best friend, Vicki L. Lindell.
Private calling hours and services will be held. Full military honors will be presented by The United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Frazeysburg Cemetery.
