Adelene “Addie” Hecker

Adelene “Addie” Mariee Hecker, 60, of Newark, passed away on Thursday October 9, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 28, 1964 in Lynch, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Willis Gene and Katherine (Lewis) Krahenbuhl. She served in the United States Army from 1985-1987 where she was stationed in Germany and then served an additional six years in the Army National Guard. She was a longtime employee of Cardinal Health. She enjoyed her grandchildren, walking, bike riding, and working on her home improvements. She is survived by her husband John Hecker. One son Jared (Emma) Keirns. Step-children Olivia (Roman) Frabel, Lance (Chelsey) Hecker, Christopher (Monica) Keirns. Grandchildren Abbott, Warren, Nathaniel, Colby, Skylar, and Emery. Her siblings Mildred “Millie” Spencer, Willis Gene Krahenbuhl, and David Edward Krahenbuhl.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday October 12, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday October 13, 2025 at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
